The Great African Caravan (GAC)
The Great African Caravan was a 200-day, 10-country journey across Africa by a group of international artists, filmmakers, musicians, and social activists. The project aimed to use art as a tool to foster peace, dialogue, and community connection — traveling from South Africa to Egypt through workshops, performances, collaborations, and conversations.
Choorma Studio was the design partner for the project, responsible for crafting a visual identity system that traveled with the caravan: on vehicles, across borders, into events, onto timelines, and eventually into exhibitions and archives.
