Our Story

Choorma began as a playful experiment, symbolizing our belief in breaking ideas down and reshaping them creatively—much like the sweet dish "choorma" itself. Today, we are storytellers who passionately craft design experiences that resonate deeply with audiences.

Making impactful art and design for brands to communicate their messages across channels makes us as happy as a tick on a big, fat dog. Doing fun, collaborative projects with brands and individuals without utmost zeal and providing them with quality work will help us die in peace.

Fun, Playful, Delightful.

Shikhant Sablania

Shikhant Sablania is a graphic designer, illustrator, and comics creator whose work bridges design, visual storytelling, and community-driven art. Over the past decade, he has worked across health-tech, entertainment, and non-profit sectors while building Choorma Studio — a creative practice rooted in human-centric design and cultural storytelling.

A self-taught artist and design thinker, Shikhant is also the publisher of InkLab Zine, an independent comics anthology showcasing underground stories from across India, and the creator of African Caravan, a collaborative travelogue web-comics project developed across 10 African countries.

His practice moves fluidly between comics, illustration, publishing, and graphic design, exploring how stories can build connection, culture, and community.
